The warm and sun drenched vineyards here produce wines with great depth of colour and flavour, ripe and rich with drying tannins. The 2017 benefitted from the cooler conditions and is showing plum and spice with a mild herbal dimension from some stem inclusion. The palate is rich, with firm and very long tannins and, thanks to the cooler weather, a refreshing acid finish. A powerful and well balanced wine that will reward some cellar time
