Allies Saone Viognier 2008

The Age A2 3rd October 2009
Those unconvinced by Viognier ought to pour a glass of this, sit back and enjoy, as its one of the finest examples of its style. Terrific on its own as its fabulously tight with a lovely acid profile alongside delicious yet delicate stone fruit , some citrus too, mouth filling with some mid palate texture and terrific length.

Allies Stone Axe Shiraz 2008

The Age Melbourne Magazine July 2009
Fragrant with slick smelling raspberry and stewed plum fruit, a touch of peachy apricot, pepper and mint too. Has richness and chew in the mouth and fine raisin-raspberry and minerally tannins. Plenty of oomph and chew here and silky chocolatiness to finish
